Mike's Concepts/Artwork
« on: November 17, 2008, 04:45:14 PM »
Personally, I don't find the way Weatherscan currently looks when it is in severe weather mode. It doesn't get viewers much attention that severe weather is occuring because the only difference is the crawl, and the grey local radar banner. The L-bar colors stay the same.

Here's what I think Weatherscan should look like during severe wx mode. Comments?

the problem is the appeal in that picture. The yellow is clashing with the red and gray imo....

I like the way it looks during severe weather mode.

I think it looks great! I never understood why the first Weatherscan IS version had their background change, but this version doesn't.

If the lower thirds for all of TWC's shows were to be updated to look like Weather Center's, here's how they may look like. I used 7OA's awesome logo icons on these graphics...

If any (trustful) member would like copies of these without the copyright, let me know.

this just stengthens my opinion that they should change all the lower 3rds to the Weather Center style, lets get some conformity going TWC! NICE JOB!!!

An IntelliStar screen I made yesterday for the NASCAR race at Avondale, AZ. Would anyone be interested if I start a weather thread where I would post the forecast for all the races (or at least the Sprint Cup ones)?

I've been posting weather updates in the NYC and Philadelphia weather threads in the last few weeks using my Weatherscan IS v.1 templates, what does everyone think of them so far? As you can see I had been making some improvements overtime, but I think my last two turned out the best so far.
