Sorry, I don't consider this "art." All you did is use Al's template and add text over top.

That's not what I/we said... come up with something on your own, then it's "artwork." Adding text to Al's already-created works isn't your "own."

Good job but i suggest you fill in the backgrounds of the sun icon too. Use the eye dropper tool in MS Paint and click on the background color. Then click the bucket icon and this should fill in the background of the icon

I've always wondered why Intellistars didn't have a school closings feature, since weather is usually what causes school closures.

My cable company inserts them on the Weatherscan Ad Crawl when schools are delayed or closed

Thats a REALLY good idea!! Wish TWC could provide cable companies a web based form in which they could fill out closing if there were any to insert into an lf. Not that hard to do since the crawl uses a similar method

Here's a new, to see what the small LDL would look like with time on the Istar, showing weather for an International League Baseball Game next week. Yeah, I need to fix Size and stuff, doesn't really work though... I would have to move those logoes up, but really just remove them.

I was a bit inspired by Mike for the screen and, I have moved forward with the icons! It shows if the Intellistar were to use the large LDL on the LF.

Despite the widescreen look, This is an SD Satellite Forecast Concept. Kinda like Fox News and CNN letterbox SD programming, TWC in this case would letterbox the SD forecast but not regular programming.

A TWC TOTAL redesign concept. It is a bit based on the promos for Ice Pilots and Turbine Cowboys. Like TWC is shifting to, it makes heavy use of the Frutiger font family, specifically the "Ultra Black" weight, which is used for some of TWC's titlebars. Still working on the lower thirds. And the color of the temperature/conditions box would change based on the temperature. Like blue for 30s, yellow-green for 40s, green for 50s, etc.

Yeah, I kind of expect them to relaunch the other shows like this just to maintain some sort or graphical continuity.

It's been over 5 years since I've posted some fanart, this is kind of a "relaunch" of Weatherscan in 1080i HD that I've been tinkering with for the past couple of months. I also have a red "severe weather alert" version that's mostly but not quite done.

Though, spoiler alert, that picture in the background isn't from here, rather I took it along the Potomac in 2011.

That looks amazing! They should go with your look for an HD rebrand, if they ever do so.
