Title: Beta Revised Icons
Post by: SO7430 on February 20, 2016, 11:41:51 PM
Ok so here is my first attempt at a revised Wintry Mix icon. Several things to note...

-The loop is much more smooth, if you download it to your PC  it doesn't have little blips caused by edge, internet explorer, etc.

-I enhanced it to make it stand out more.

-I still don't have a transparent background yet, I'm having trouble with it.

-This one isn't final either, there's going to e a few more tests/revisions I will make, because the new program I'm using to compile them makes sun and cloud animations look awful......

I hope you guys like it, if you have any comments or suggestions just let me know.

***I do not own this***

If I have to remove this please notify me to do so.

Like I said, download them and they run a lot smoother than online.

I'm actually trying right now to just take each frame out and make the background transparent in each frame, then compile all the frames (anywhere from 45-170) without the blue background. Fingers crossed this works! :)

I think with insta this is as good as a sun will get, but I'm looking for other programs.

The second one has the enhanced effect on it which for some reason makes it look gritty (a.k.a. crappier)....

Ok you choose which windy icon looks better, windy 1 is without the enhancement and windy 2 has the enhancement.

Cloudy 1 = not enhanced Cloudy 2 = enhanced......

I don't like how the enhancing makes the cloud animation look gritty.

I'm putting them through several encoders before removing the backgrounds.

Do some of them seem too fast?, it keeps compiling them at 20% the original speed....

First off I don't have radar, or voice clips. The ones in my videos are from recordings, I just tuned down the background music. The icons you can just download off of here, just click the wording below each icon with the little paperclip next to it. I made my emulations in powerpoint, which pretty much is self explanatory, just set up narration the same way you would music.
