Song Titles
« on: July 04, 2011, 01:14:23 PM »
Hey Guys,
I've begun three new compositions for the 8's but, have no really good song titles for them.  Do you guys have any great suggestions?!

And whatever happened to the 'Blowin' in the Wind' video a couple of you said you might create after I posted the song??? :dunno:

All the best,
-JR

P.S. - As I mentioned, I'm in the composition process - so no it is not possible to hear them now and it's really the other way around - I need to fit the title to the piece.  But that's ok - I just thought you guys might have some creative title ideas.  You're creative in so many other ways.  I'll plug along on my own and figure out what to name the pieces as they gel more.

Well, I would probably have to hear the songs first in order to come up with titles. You can message me if you want, I can come up with something.

as for the video, I don't recall the post. I don't have expertise in video editing and graphic design, so I don't think it's a project I can do. :/

Yeah it would be great to hear the songs. I can come up with weather-related titles, if you wish

I would love to help out with the titles.. if you could post some samples I may be able to help!

As for Blowin' in the Wind.. I apologize this took forever :( I had to go through several backups of my computer to locate the song.. it might not be what you wanted, but all I did was put a bunch of images pertaining to wind into a collage throughout the song.

Hey Zach,
Thank you so much for taking the time out to do this.  You 've located some great images .  I'm wondering, if you can find alittle more time - if maybe some images that relate to the actual lyrics could be found - a man walking down a road, dove on the beach, missles, etc.

All the best and again thank you for taking the time.

Jeanne - didn't realize that. If it sounds tropical/summer-likeupbeat perhaps some of these titles may suit:

Reflections of You
Copacabana Breeze
Sailing towards the Horizon
Distant Decades
New York City Rush
Picture Perfect
Blissful Nights in Cancun

I have some weather-related titles, depending on the tempo/pitch:

Frosty Sunrise
Strollin' In The Rain
Basking In Sunshine
Misty Day

Those are some great titles - I'll let you know when I've got some pieces finished that live-up to them.
Next couple of weeks I should have something.
Thanks for the help.
