Fios is still a new company and they aren't spread out/scattered as much as Comcast is.  Thus, because of this isolation, there are fewer headends.

I still can't believe Central Park is one of my CC cities though :huh: :rofl2:

Yeah its pretty much as Vic said. FiOS hasn't been around too long, and thus hasn't had sufficient time to penetrate very much of the country just yet. Give it a few years.

A friend of mine also subscribed to Verizon FiOS TV a year ago. Unfortunately, her TV service was cut off in September due to lack of payments.

 :furious: With all the problems I have had with my Verizon DSL you couldnt pay me enough to switch over to FIOS. I am someone who has taken a networking class and I have called Verizon before and I seam to know more then there tech support at times. Its just not me in this area I know quite a few people who have had problems with verizon DSL.

Trust me, DSL is very much different from FiOS. I would be very surprised if the same problems were to be had with FiOS.

DSL is worser than Fios. More outages, slower speeds, stuff..

I like Fios. I heard people say the internet is very fast with fios.

I've had DSL for a year or so and have been relatively satisfied. The only issues I've had have to do with sharing the internet connection with multiple computers.

Sorry, but after Comcast, I could never even DREAM of going back to DSL. Not to mention its outdated technology.

$42.00 a month for the minum package. The thing that bugs me is I cant find what it cost after the first year.
