I've always had a suspicion about this sort of thing. It sure seems interesting this only comes up now that they think we're going to have a hotter summer this year than in years past.

Local Forecast / Re: "Morning Awakes" by "Dover" sampled twice

This 'Cloud' song is like something you hear in the menu of a desktop computer game in the mid 2000's... and I can't get enough

Local Forecast / Re: Old TWC songs sampled

In addition to the sampling of "Morning Awakes" by "Dover", I just now found out that "Smooth Sailing" (aka "All That Jazz" by "Trammell Starks" was sampled by somebody going by "PZA" on an album called "Pizza Party" and it's titled "Cloud". https://pza420.bandcamp.com/track/cloud
Plus, I think another song on that same album, this one called "1027" sampled another classic Trammell Starks song. I wonder what's going on with these people sampling classic TWC songs and making them their own songs, especially one that supposedly had its masters lost forever.

Hey all! I'm getting more interested in meteorology and want to learn more about it. I may chime in on a topic from time to time here to gain a further understanding of the subject. I have much to learn so I may be chiming in a lot!

cc17926, I want to set up a version of your simulator for a Livestream for my local area, like you've done for Mount Holly, NJ. I'm not able to create a WXCINE account as you've closed registration. I'm familiar with another WS4000 simulator, but yours is way smoother looking and has way more flavors and segments. Please PM me with what I can/need to do to create a WXCINE account and get access to use your simulator so I can set up my variant for my local area. I have no problem with giving credit to you for the simulator. Thank you so much!!!

General Discussion / Re: At least it won't get stolen

I really don't care for electric cars. This country isn't ready for them, good enough infrastructure isn't in place, and, now this. I feel like the benefits of electric cars are outweighed by the production of their batteries, which are often worse than the chemicals used in traditional gasoline cars.

I agree.  Some day the technology and infrastructure may be good enough to allow us to all drive electric cars, but that day is not today.
