Title: Fatal weatherscan emulator problem??

I tried running the emulator after finally getting every config finished. It displayed the screen that said Weather Star XL and it ran as normal. Then, an error message popped up and my cursor started glitching out. I had to shut down my computer. What happened??

It occurs after "your boating forecast" on the update screen and says the following:
"Runtime error '-2147220850 (8004028e)':
File Open error

It displays a black screen where the emulation should be and plays the music normally.

Apparently the boat and beach is bugged. That's what caused the error.  :dunno:

I have been experiencing the same thing even without the Boat and Beach forecast, i reinstalled it like 2000 times and still...nothing just the same error

I'd love to use the emulator, but I am getting this error as well. Is there any fix?  :thinking:

Use Windows XP, Vista, or 7 with nothing but local forecast.
