Stephanie Abrams Talks Dirty Again 5/23/12

I don't get it.   At first, I thought she cursed live on the air.
0:12 into the video -- all I will say for now. :P

WUWA is in a different studio this morning, NBC Nightly New's studio that is.

Photo is not mine, from Stephanie Abram's Facebook/Twitter post.

I'm just wondering why they didn't do it the weeks leading up, and during, the Olympics coverage. That way they would come back to the new studio when Abrams made the move and Al was back from London. Maybe because of the work they were doing to the Today show studio front?

They are using the Nightly News studio while their studio gets a remodel.
My guess is they are not moving back to the small studio they were using and are going to move into the old WNBC studio 7E that is now empty since WNBC moved to the studio between Nightly News and MSNBC.

WUWA is such a silly show. I've talked to the TV before when Stephanie Abrams is talking about other things besides weather and I said, "Just report the weather, for crying out loud!" She often gets off the subject of weather during WUWA.

WUWA is a show that wasn't meant just for weather.  It clearly has a purpose to entertain and give people something to laugh about in the morning.  Sorry, but it's just not going to change, which is why it's best to avoid complaining and stick with other more traditional segments on TWC.

At least it won't look like it's broadcasting from a closet anymore.

Yeah, my biggest complaint about the show was the "I'm stuck in a closet!" look. Over to Al... who is three feet away from me...

Al is solo in studio today, Stephanie has the day off, to cover the US Open tomorrow. Jen Carfagno and Mike Bettes held down the fort in Atlanta for the 6am hour.

But The Weather Channel was founded to be a cable network entirely devoted to weather 24/7 with periodic documentaries about certain weather topics, hurricanes, tornadoes, droughts, etc.

The difference is TWC isn't independently owned anymore,if they still were that might still be true today, but TWC/NBC/Comcast as a whole don't care about that except only when it financially suits them like it did with Isaac for example.
