I wanna say thanks to TWC for staying with KFOR Coverage of the Tornadoes today. Being that I have family in Oklahoma I am able to watch their coverage. And my family is OK there. They were in their basements. They did loose their house today. Can't really keep a good cell signal right now with them. :(
-
Glad your family is OK. Let us how everything goes for them.

TWC has been without commercials or LOT8s for over two hours. It's times like these when I appreciate this channel. I hope they would do this more often.
Probably what hit me most during TWC's coverage today was when we saw video of how large the tornado and debris ball was for the first time and Kim and Kelly almost started crying. Just devastating.

Wow I am glad they made it fine. So sorry for losing their house :(

I understand the coverage is the most important and TWC is doing a good job though by now they should have switched to more appropriate instrumental music on the LOT8's.

Who cares about the music. This is a tragedy occurring in an area that was already devastated 14 years ago.

Agreed. And they weren't showing many LOT8s. The only LOT8s they were showing was at :58 and it was Yen on a Carousel

LOL, Ironically, the one time most don't give a flying fish about a LF or music...
I'm kinda surprised they bothered showing them now though.
Brandon, I'm sorry to hear about your family in OK losing their home in the tornado, but I am glad and relieved to hear they are all alive and well.

Yes they did, I love that they simulcast between themselves and KFOR-TV. I don't know what the other OKC stations were showing, but KFOR had some stunning shots of the tornado from beginning to end today.

I really liked that too. Often times the local news stations have the most up-to-date information, so I am very glad they did that. Very good video too.
BTW, KFOR is the NBC affiliate in Oklahoma City, so that is why TWC used them for coverage.

They covered it the way they should have - focus on the storm, the aftermath, and the impact.
We have been praying!!!

TWC was live to 4am Wednesday to 2am Thursday with storm coverage.
