another long-form again  They need to stop creating these shows because most of them are very similar. (this show is a Coast Guard Alaska copycat)

These new shows don't sound half bad in my opinion. I wish they would make many shows like this because it is still tightly weather related. Coast Guard Alaska after I watched for a few days being bored wasn't half bad either. I kinda like the show now. If we have to have long form, make it something good to watch.

Another long-form show? I'm getting real pissed at NBC for screwing up TWC

Time for everyone to gripe about long form again... Long form isn't going anywher people. And for the last time, it's not NBC's fault.

Didn't they already have a show with this same title or a pretty darn similar title years ago?

Yes, Surviving the Elements, though the two shows will have totally different content delivered not of the same variety.

They did quite a lot when it wasn't owned by NBC.

Tis the season. Might as well just blame Comcast. Comcast -> NBC -> TWC

Though I admit the shows aren't that bad but it's a shame the content isn't more original. It seems like the theme lately is to throw a bunch of shows with low budgets into production rather than focusing on a few quality shows.

I just want to be able to turn on The WEATHER Channel and not see shows about Lifeguards, Pilots or Iron Men...maybe ONE hour a day dedicated to shows like Weather Caught on Camera and/or Storm Riders... but I get so frustrated when I turn on a news format channel and see recorded entertainment shows. I want my live weather coverage! Lol
