Title: Graphics update/change

When if even ever do you think we'll see an update or slight change to the current graphics? If it really does happen, my bet is on the end of this year or by the middle of next year. Things seem a little stale to me right now, more so than they have for the past three years almost.  :happy:

I don't know, I'd argue that many slight changes/refreshes have already been done. Just look at videos from 2013 when the overhaul first debuted, and look at TWC now. There have been a lot of changes (lower thirds, radar on the screen, terrain on some maps, LOT8s, studio backgrounds, title cards, etc.) and most were for the better.

Yeah I just noticed that the other day, I should have titled it as a format change or refresh shall you say. They would be amazing if they made an update that was a slightly updated version of the previous set up but with updated features and animation formats like now, just ideas really but i really did otice how far it has came since 2013 but like I said I would like to see something new again.

I mean like can you imagine turning on twc to see the graphics as they were from 2007-2013 like it would be weird because they've been gone so long, not to you lucky weatherscan people out there, but you get my point, I want something that is different already. Dont take that as whiny or negative, sorry if it came of that way.  :)

This was a concept made for the Accuweather Channel from Hothaus Creative. I think the overall look of this could work for TWC too though. Especially 0:05-0:10, that could easily be a redesign concept of the Localonthe8s.

Yeah I like the curved, and moving intro on that one. I've even thought of having GANNETT graphics on TWC. Just to give you a taste. Either this top 2011 version





or the bottom current version, this is the only image I could find with the updated bar crawl, sorry abou the windows xp notice :) lol
