According to the following article, NBC may be planning a show for Al Roker on TWC. There aren't many details yet, but its interesting nonetheless.

Oh, God.
-
Whiskey. Tango. Foxtrot.
-
LOL, exactly the reaction I expected!
-
You've GOT TO BE KIDDING ME...
Holy GOD tell me you're kidding me...
-
I am absolutely speechless....
This is just going too far IMO.
-
Oh great, here we go again......
-
If he were to be a standalone OCM, that would be fine with me. But if he has his own program, that's another story.
-
I don't know what to think of this... haha.
I don't see the point in Al Roker having a show on TWC.. i mean he's already got a couple Food Network show's..and he's on NBC...what more can the man need!
-
He also hosted Family Feud in the summer. Al Roker likes to have a lot of work, kind of like Ryan Seacrest.
-
He probably wants more money that's why he's doing this.
-
As if he doesn't make enough money doing Today. :whistling:
-
He's going to move down to Atlanta and call it quits and have his own show
-
Maybe Jim Cantore planing on moving to Today.
-
LOL, that's EXTREMELY unlikely. ;)
-
Woah...I didn't see that coming either.
:hammer:
I'll have a look at the article. This is news to me.
-
Wow... You know, this is believeable. Why?... Because TWC has been very shorthanded for the year or so. It seems as if they loose OCMs and never replace them with other personalities. And now that they have laid off even MORE personalities makes you wonder how TWC will juggle regular programming anchors as well as substitute anchors (think of it this way -- Dave, Eboni and Cheryl serve as subs and they are the first ones in when a regular anchor is out [this weekend, for example]).
We'll have to see if this man comes to TWC, or moreover, if anymore new personalities come to the channel anytime soon....
-
I've been giving alot of thought to the possibility that we might see some of the folks from WxPlus on TWC sometime in the near future. after all, they're going to need jobs. So why should TWC/NBC replace TWC's staff from outside when they could do it from within.
-
Just heard from Patrick, my insider, and he tells me that Mike Seidel confirmed the report that there may indeed be a show in the works for Al Roker.
-
LOL, that's EXTREMELY unlikely. ;)
It surely is
I don't think that Jim wants to leave the south just yet because he's so adapted to being down there
-
I agree with you!
Jim Cantore IS the Weather Channel.
-
I agree with you on that one Ana!
