Wx Proof
A brand new series on The Weather Channel, produced by Emmy Award-winning Peacock Productions, "Wx Proof" explores the "what ifs" and "could that really happens" of extreme weather conditions. Our weather testers will expose everyday items to extraordinary conditions to see how long they can survive. (Series premieres second quarter 2010)

Not starting for a while at least but I think we all know what lo8 promos are going to be on from January- June :rolleyes:

Yea it sounds like a take off of It Could Happen Tomorrow. Wonder if they are getting rid of that branding. :thinking:

Every time I hear a new long-form idea, they all seem to sound the same to me. :hmm:  I can only give "Storm Stories" credit for being unique.  We've had way too many hypothetical "what if" shows lately.

Because apparently the folks at NBC is more satisfied with having their own programming air on TWC. <_<

It Could Happen Tomorrow was produced by Atlas Media, and this new show is by NBC.

Oh, God. Please don't let long-form dominate the entire schedule. I'm grateful for a weeknight schedule without any long-form shows.

Isn't their Vortex 2 project enough for tornado chasing?
