TWC's latest show, When Weather Changed History, was the networks most watched show at launch. During the entire launch week for WWCH, more than 21 million people watched. Article:

Who knew any current show could attract such a huge audience!
-
they showed that info in their lfs hundreds of times!
-
No kidding. Well I guess they had something to be proud of.
-
why do so many people watch it?
-
I don't know, but I'll admit, I've watched it a few times and its not all that bad. Probably one of the better show's TWC's come up with since they started airing such shows.

Yeah i think its good. yup.. mmhmm.. totally.
-
i think the show is anything BUT good
-
While on the topic of WWCH, are they making any new shows? Or are they keep going to showing the same reruns over and over?
-
If the show has such high ratings, then why so its LF opener all the time? I thought they only need to do that if the ratings are low.

Was tonight's episode new? I'm not even keeping track anymore.

Neither am I. I don't think I've actually watched an episode of WWCH in weeks.
-
AFAIK, they are still making new episodes every Sunday night.
-
Actually, I think tonight's episode might have aired before, but I saw the promo for next Sunday's episode, and that one definitely is new.
-
Yesterday's show was abiut Delta 191 crashing in DFW due to a microburst. Since it was about airplanes, I surely watched it ! :yesl
-
I love airplanes 2, Victor! I didn't get to watch it. waahh

Yay, another airplane fanatic!!
-
I hope i can get to you soon. But as right now, I'm can't wait for another episode of WWCH
-
I hope i can get to you soon.
What do you mean?
-
Like get to chat sometime.
Back in topic, I wonder whens the next episode
-
The next episode is about some sort of flood
-
The Great Midwest Flood? I think that's the episode
-
Yes! That's the one. They also show how the crash of flight 191 was by the lazy pilot's actions and the microbursts
-
Yeah. Well, WWCH is a real must-see-on-tv Disaster Documantary
-
Congrats TWC.
Now can you please, PLEASE, PLEASE change the lf opener and quit cramming it down our throats. I'd even take those Epic Conditions ones over this. At least they had a variety of them.
-
Okay, the LF opener change is done, at least for this week and next week since next week is "Tornado Preparedness Week" (as opposed to just "Tornado Week").
I wonder what it'll be like and what shows will be featured. Apparently Tornado Preparedness programming will be replacing WWCH next week.
-
why? I like WWCH. I can't see why any1 won't like it
-
You like WWCH? They show the same episodes everyday for a week!
-
When the new episodes come
-
I saw the Discovery plane crash one, and it wasn't that bad. The reason why I think ratings were so high, is that it really isn't THAT MUCH about the weather :P, but I suppose that's okay.
Too all you who are wondering why they keep showing local forecast openers: I think they are doing this, to gain more viewership. More viewership won't hurt them at all :)
-
They should make some positively themed shows. IMO, shows like WWCH and SS are about sad, life threatening situations.

They already have... Atmospheres, Weather Ventures, Epic Conditions...
-
but they never show them
-
but they never show them
They show the latter two on Friday nights at 8 pm et and 11 pm et if pre-recorded programming doesn't get preempted due to severe weather.
-
that explains why i dont watch it then
-
They're disaster documentaries like Air Emergency or Seconds From Disaster or Trapped
-
Wow, this is a pretty decent show. I can see why it's so popular. :)
-
I just Saw Air Florida Flight 90....pretty cool episode. I wonder what's the next episode.
-
I saw that too. It's OK but they focus too little on the actual accident.

Its called When WEATHER Changed History. I think the focus is supposed to be more on the weather surrounding the event then the event itself. ;)

i like some episodes
