Question: How many of you would freak out if pop music and occasional instrumentals returned to Lo8s? I hear people wouldn't care but would you still flip out? I probably wouldn't

Local Forecast / NEW Ryan Farish Album!

In case you didn't know Ryan Farish is going to release a new album which sounds similar to Life In Stereo which is really exciting!  :dance: It's called Spectrum. Maybe TWC will pick them up in the future once the production music phase ends? Here are 3 songs published so far.

Local Forecast / How does Local on the 8s Work at TWC?

I've always wondered how TWC airs the Lo8s during specified times. I've always was curious about the National LF. I know the HD graphics from 2007-2013 were from Viz, possibly even now. Does anyone know how they aired it live along with lining up the music to air on time? Really dying to know.

TWC and your Cable Company / Weather Channel Reality Shows Now On Xfinity On Demand

Xfinity just added Strangest Weather on Earth, Secrets of the Earth, and American Supernatural to it's on demand lineup. It's widescreen and no bugs or weather info present, just the raw video file. No idea how long it's been up, just noticed it tonight.

I don't know if anybody on this forum has worked or has knowledge or TruVu Max but if so here's my question

My Main question is the data service. Is this really thousands per month or is that when you combine multiple vendors? What are the data prices generally, the cheapest it could go? This is my last shot before I contact WSI.

I've always have wondered, all the XL emulations on YouTube, are they actual XL units or highly complicated After Effects files? The Radar looks highly accurate so this is throwing me off. Also if anyone has a project file
for a really realistic XL or Intellistar emulator, that would be nice.

After many complaints I sent to TWC, the weather channel sent out a survey asking what music you would prefer to hear on the 8s. I really want the message to be heard, so if your not signed up for the front or did not receive it just click the video below. Just comment for what music you would like. I will email the CEO the results after May 4th.
