That's too bad, but TWC made a good effort this year. It shows that they are capable of bringing outside music back if they care enough to do so.

That must've been the new music they were talking about.  :pinch:

My IS2 is down as well in Baton Rouge. TWCHD as a whole is down. Not impressed with a hashtag graphic cutting into what's already a shortened LF. Show the radar screen for that extra second.

Has anyone else heard anything new about the rumored relaunch?

I remember it. I thought it was a Storm Alert theme from Hurricane Isaac at the time where I was. Good song.

OCMs & Personalities / Re: Dave Schwartz Returns

He seems normal to me and still a breath of fresh air compared to some of the OCMS. He still refers to his audience as "my friends." He's also been more informative than other OCMS when explaining the science behind storms among other things. I'm not expecting "Robot Dave" to return, but he seems like the Dave I enjoy.

My IS does the same thing. Apparently the sun doesn't rise some days...

I was wondering if there are any noticeable differences between the IS2 and IS2Jr since the graphics update. From what I can see, I can no longer tell the two apart at all.

Well, if she could, she would set the thermostat to the 50s...lol. For me, I think it's the combination of the fan and vent that make it too cold for me. She will say it's too hot when I turn the A/C off for a while, yet she's under a blanket and has on long pants. The thermostat is in the living room, and she's usually always there, so it's hard to sneak up the thermostat in that situation. I'm going to talk to her about it today, because in order for this to work long term, I need to be comfortable too. Other than the temperature, however, she is a good roommate, so hopefully she will be willing to compromise.

I have a roommate situation, and I'm curious to know what some of you might do. It's not a serious problem for me yet, but my roommate likes to keep the apartment cold and the fans on very fast. I don't mind sleeping with the air a bit colder, but she likes to keep it cold all the time and got used to that because she previously roomed alone. In the perfect world, I'd like it warmer in the day and cooler at night, and I wouldn't like the fans on because the breeze from both the fan and vents is uncomfortable. How can I address this without seeming like a controlling person? What do you think would be the best compromise? I think my social anxiety keeps me from being blunt about my personal concerns.

This always seems to happen. Of course, I'm not hoping they cut off the analog soon, but there was another rumor about this same thing in early 2013. If TWC is going to do it, I just wish they would already instead of not meeting their own deadlines. Maybe there's more sentimental employees at TWC than we realize.

Well, I'll be... I hope you all voted for instrumental/jazz, etc. Unfortunately, it won't let me participate in the survey at this time.

I think the sidebar would clash with the pretty background.  :P

so i would think it may have to do something with the recent survey which ended earlier this month

Was the survey even issued by TWC? Some people think the survey was just a rumor and that those videos were just someone wanting attention.

If TWC did in fact stop the vocals due to severe weather, then that tells me they're ashamed of them.

I highly doubt that. If anything, maybe they're picking some new songs.

I've never heard that one before. I've noticed some peculiar phrases lately, too. I think they may be modified because of the shorter local forecast.

Is there a link to the actual survey, by any chance? I didn't see one by Googling it, either.
