General Discussion / My terminated YouTube account now I'm back!
« on: February 27, 2019, 09:21:30 PM »
As a few of you may know, in August 2017, my You Tube account was terminated due to a very bogus claim.  :furious: Most likely, some troller flagged my account. More than a month ago, I started a new one with the username I had before, ILovestorms. I am reuploading everything I have of classic TWC footage (190 uploads already and counting). If starting this topic was not appropriate here, I apologize. I'm just trying to spread the word.  ;) It's 194 uploads now. :)

Charter is our cable provider. Does this mean anything for phone and internet services, in addition to TV?

An HP laptop computer (which I'm typing this on right now).

It's not cold in the upper Midwest with below zero readings.

Hurricane Central / Re: Irma
« on: December 01, 2017, 03:13:47 PM »
Irma is now an extremely powerful Category 5 hurricane. It is now the second strongest hurricane on record (as far as wind speed goes) in the Atlantic Ocean with winds of 185mph and wind gusts that exceed 200mph! Hurricane Allen is #1 with max winds of 190mph at it's peak (1980).

I was not happy at all when Irma hit southwestern Florida, a portion of the state that I hold dear and has a special place in my heart. But at least it was not a Category 5 with nearly 200 mph winds when it made landfall there.

No, but I have a picture of the 3 of us.

There will not be a solar eclipse in the United States on the 21st of this month, seen from the Pacific Northwest coast to the southeast Atlantic coast.

Is anyone excited about the epic total eclipse that will happen on August 21st?

We also gotta factor in social media usage. I know I'm guilty of it too, although sometimes it feels good to disconnect while on the go.

Indeed. As a long-time webmaster, I have a love/hate relationship with social media, YouTube, and Wordpress. As a user, these things are great. As a webmaster, they've taken a good chunk of my audience, and I hate that! :P
I can see why you feel that way Matt. You have mixed feelings since it takes from the audience on here, yet social media is a very useful tool and we all enjoy facebook, twitter, instagram, youtube, etc.

When I first joined the old forum, this was social media to me, because it was before I knew about Facebook. Yes, samehere, I'm not on here as much either.
