Does anyone here have any First Outlook or Weekend:Now clips from 2001-2003? There seems to be very little clips around of these shows from this particular era. Thanks.
Everyone, I've posted a couple First Outlook clips on TWCCLASSICS. Not all of the other clips I have are small enough to be posted here or on TWCCLASSICS. If anyone would like to see them, please PM me here or at TWCCLASSICS with your e-mail address and I can send them to you.

Why do you post this stuff at TWC Classics?  :whistling:

Would you please post them here? you can post attachments up to something like 40MB in size. I sure hope the clips aren't bigger than that!
You're right. I have quite a bit of stuff. I'll post what I can tonight. Most of this is stuff I submitted to the site video section, but the links have been severed. So, if you guys would like, you can also post this stuff (every video I post) in the video section!

Here you go (Part 1 of many):

1. First Outlook clip from June 28, 2000
2. First Oulook promo from March 26, 2000. This is from the night before First Outlook premiered. It is also the rest of the closing graphics you see from clip 1.

More to come!

Yes, but the VHS tapes need to be converted. Would you like some of Mike Bono's final days to go along with that?
I'd love to see what you have! :sunglasses:

TWC NEVER once stopped the Forecast Earth episode they had on. That's what Spring Rubber is referring to.
According to Gil, they did dual-feed coverage.
Not while I was watching at the top and bottom of the hour during FE.

Kind of, but it's serious at the same time.
For those of you that have been under a rock for the weekend, Chicago was hit by tornadoes yesterday (one quite large: half-mile wide). TWC NEVER once stopped the Forecast Earth episode they had on. That's what Spring Rubber is referring to.

I was upset about this yesterday also. I must say though, FOX-32 did a very good job yesterday reporting the conditions. The preempted the Cubs game and Seinfeld to report on the storm, and stayed with it until it hit Lake Michigan in NW Indiana. It reminded me a little bit of the 1999 Moore, OK F5 tornado with the type of coverage, but thankfully not nearly as severe.

Programming and Graphics / Re: New schedule to come June 2nd?
« on: May 31, 2008, 03:38:28 PM »
I think we're all in favor of a new schedule with less long form!

Although once the new season of WWCH starts, those episodes will probably air on weekdays again.
Like I said, I miss understood it.

You're probably right though about WWCH. Anything good on TWC only lasts for a short time anyway! :sunglasses:

If this schedule holds true, last night was the final night of weekday long-form programming. They're preempting tonight.
This is bad how........? We've always complained about live weather being cut away for recorded programs, and now that they've (TWC) finally woken up and listened to us, were complaining that the long-form programs are disappearing! I don't get it!
Where does Steve say the preemption/new schedule is bad?
Absolutely nowhere. :P
I know Steve didn't say it anywhere. As I read this thread in general, some of the comments are good (in favor of new schedule) and some are bad (not in favor). Sorry, for the nonspecific post....I just deleted it. :blushing:

Does anyone possibly have footage of the 2001-2003 clips they showed this morning?

Wow. I read the Smoking Gun article, and I think I know who the "prior OCM" was. It was most likely Melissa Barrington. She left TWC "without explaination" in 2003 just before Hillary was put on-air with Bob.

TWC is screwed!

Must be very lucky being right next to Stephanie Abrams. I'd love her to give me every weather forecast I need anyday. :)

Why does she look 10-20 years older in that picture?
Because she doesn't have make-up on.
