One of the most notorious murders of the past 25 years has been solved, according to police in Florida. According to police, Adam Walsh, son of John Walsh, host of America's Most Wanted, was murder by Ottis Toole, who died in prison more than ten years ago. Here's the article:

TWC Today News / Warning For Yahoo Mail Users

Because at TWCT we care about the safety of our members, I want to let everyone know of a situation that affects anyone that uses Yahoo mail, and I want to give you the CORRECT information, which is NOT what was reported by another site. There is a Yahoo Mail user by the name of Jimmy Ruska (most of heard of him, I'm pretty sure) who is contacting people and trying to get their passwords for this and another forum (not their e-mail password, as was reported at another site). He contacted me to try and get mine, and in no uncertain terms I told him that he'd lost his marbles. He also threatened to not come back to the site, which I told him would not bother me in the least.
He told me that his really name is actually Dylan, and not Jimmy, but I don't know if that's true. I do know, however, that it is NOT Felipe. His IP address does not originate from Chile (and at last check Felipe hadn't mastered the art of the proxy yet).
I wasn't going to say anything because as far as I know myself and one other person are the only two people affected, and I didn't think it warranted alarming everyone. But seeing as you all were mislead in many ways, I thought it would be wise to sort out all the misinformation, and give you the real scoop.
Feel free to reply to this thread if you wish, but I don't want to see it become a roundtable discussion of every lowlife we know.

According to the following article, TWC will be releasing a DVD set of its When Weather Changed History series, on both DVD and blu-ray. It's slated for release in early January, but is available now exclusively at Best Buy.

Just received an interesting article. Its about global warming, and how many meteorologists are beginning to doubt that such a thing even exists. Most of the article talks about Andre Bernier's belief that global warming is a hoax. One part of the article even quotes Stu Ostro.

According to the following article, it's been (finally!) officially declared that the country is in a recession, and has been since this time last year:

The article goes on to say that economists are predicting that the economy will hit bottom in the second quarter of 2009, which means we still have a good while to go before this recession might be over. On the bright side, the article also says that some of the interest rate cuts imposed by the government last year should start helping the economy very soon.

I've just found on YouTube a video of Baltimore County's WxStar 4000 form 1994! I've been dying to see some videos of our 4000! It's a shame that the flavor in this video is a crappy one that doesn't show me very much.
