Every time I send it in they basically replace everything in the laptop. I really think my laptop is cursed.

Oh that could be the power adapter. Sometimes the chip in the cord that identifies the type of cord with your computer can damage and your computer wont charge. Its probably shutting off randomly because it is at 0%. Try getting them to send you a new adapter. Should fix you right up

This would be the 3rd cord then from HP. Basically every time I send it in the old problems are fixed but there are new ones that magically appear. Also why would the power light be blinking like it is? Also it's reporting (plugged in, charging) now but it isn't actually charging.

Edit: My Mistake, it was in fact the battery light blinking. It doesn't blink when the battery isn't in the laptop though.

I am NEVER buying another product from HP again.
I got my laptop back yesterday, but now it just randomly shuts off. Also the power light blinks whenever the laptop is plugged in, even if it's on or off. It's also now reporting "0% (plugged in, not charging)". This sucks, really.

The Weather Bulletin is no longer appearing on the LDL or LF on IntelliSTAR 24688. This can be a safety problem during national programing when the LDL is used. It needs to be fixed due to the severe weather coming through. Thanks in advance!

Well I got my laptop back today, and I'm not very pleased. They reinstalled Vista on my PC, which pisses me off, however I had everything backed up so it wasn't that much of a big deal.

GIMP used to anti-alias, but after I updated it to 2.6.8 it no longer worked. I'm still trying to figure out why.

Ouch, Curt! Thank goodness you're getting a new adapter. That must have been dangerous.

Anyways, it's two weeks till the 4th Family Reunion, and I'm very excited. I'm actually working behind the scenes with my design skills. I'm designing a "newsletter" with pictures and the names of the family, and I also designed the banner, which the picture of it is attached below. My uncle, who is an art teacher in Mexicali sketched the picture and I decided on the colors. My cousin and I worked on it all day, and it all turned out to be a success.

At least they are replacing it free of charge. They normally take forever for shipping, so I wonder why they chose 1 day shipping. Trying to avoid a lawsuit? 

But great job, Ana! That banner looks excellent! I love the colors. But hey, have a great time with the reunion! I hope you have a wonderful time

They did 1 day shipping for the box to ship my laptop to them.

Well I made a sig series that rotates on refresh. Each image has a different thing about Summer.
The Summer rotation will be phased out after today though, however the summer rotation will be available here:

Please comment on this though since I'll be doing this for holidays / other seasons too. Anything that should be added? Removed? Changed? Good? Bad? Crappiest image ever?
