Weather Channel Shakeup: Sam Champion's ‘AMHQ’ Senior Executive Producer Being Replaced

The Weather Channel just took a Sharpie to its live TV organizational chart.

Angie Massie, former CNN showrunner for “Rick's List” and ‘The Newsroom with Brooke Baldwin,” has been named senior executive producer of morning line-up, including Sam Champion's “AMHQ.” She will replace Scott Warren, who is leaving the organization.

TWC Renews ‘Fat Guys in the Woods’ for Season Two

The Weather Channel has picked-up reality/survivalist series “Fat Guys in the Woods” for a second season, with production set to begin in November for a premiere in second quarter 2015. Hosted by survival expert Creek Stewart, “Fat Guys in the Woods” takes groups of three average Joes into the woods to battle Mother Nature and teach them the art of outdoor survival while armed with only the basic of tools. Next season will feature new locations, different weather conditions and women joining the mix.

My thoughts on the changes it's definitely fast paced i love the addition of the cities next to the radar map plus the jokes near the time clock absolutely funny although i will miss the narrations that to me was the staple of TWC for many years love the colors on the radar weather bar graph perfect & it looks like the vocals have been pushed to the end segments after each story or forecast overall a solid A for me good job WC crew.

yeah the font was weird, and i only got black video for the commercials after LOT8s

i really like the intros to the LOT8s, pretty clever..

and did anyone notice we have intrumental LOT8s back?!

Yeah i noticed it & it sounded pretty good i like it so far.
