I'm hoping for a relaunch later this year. I mean, the "Weather all the Time" era/slogan has been around since late 2013. It's time for fresh new look, and maybe go back to its roots? (the channel has been getting more comedic lately, so it's kind of makes senses).

Hurricane Central / Re: The Ressurection of Harvey
« on: August 25, 2017, 07:26:45 PM »
It's been forever since I got rain from a hurricane here. 9 years ago, was the last time this occurred with Dolly, when its path went straight near Laredo as it weakened.

I wasn't able to see it. Darn clouds were the blocking the view when it happened.

Everything Else TWC / Re: So much for less longform this year
« on: January 04, 2017, 09:13:26 PM »
You'll notice that my TWC viewings had been severely diminished since 2012. It was starting to go less a little bit in 2009, but by 2012 it was when I stopped being a fan. Say what you about NBC's early years when they took over TWC, but at least it was decent compared to what we had nowadays.

Local Forecast / Re: Smooth Jazz Return!
« on: December 31, 2016, 01:03:38 PM »
With only two more weeks in 2016, does anyone know if smooth jazz on selected days will continue into the new year and if so, would Dave Clark provide another calendar for the upcoming year?  At any rate I can only wonder how much longer the 'regular' LF songs can continue to go on without changing something.  The only thing worse is the Canadian 'The Weather Network' which used ONE song for several years...
Like I said, I'm not really hoping anything god anymore on TWC besides Weather Underground. I want them to bring back what makes this channel so good in the first place, but I had given up. I will continue listening to the old jazz music from this website's music pages and videos.

Programming and Graphics / Re: Anyone want more live programming?
« on: December 31, 2016, 01:02:00 PM »
I'm not getting my hopes up anymore. 2017 will be 5 years since I stopped being a regular viewer of TWC and since they got jazz music (They brought it back but I want more than the ones from jazz CD's)

It's quiet because most of us think the Weather Channel isn't really the same anymore. I rarely watch it these days :/

Well, I know what I'm doing on elections day. Stay the heck away from Politics and watch some TWC and cartoons.

I originally wanted a Wii U but both 3DS and the NX are the two things I'm planning to get. My first game for the 3DS will be the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros 4.
