I'm kind of surprised we haven't heard anything from TWC about who's taking over AMHQ. This is Sam's final week on the show. You would think they would have announced something by now... unless it's just going to be Cantore and Delgado (I really hope not!)

I could see Kait Parker or Alex Wilson as the 3rd co-host

I wouldn't be surprised to see Kait Parker, but I don't see them pulling Alex away from Dave in the afternoon.  I think TWC realizes that pairing Alex and Dave has been a big hit and won't disrupt their chemistry. Then again, anything is possible!
Yeah, Dave and Alex is one of the best things TWC has going for it right now. Really, either of them would be great on mornings... I'd love to see Dave and Stephanie do a show together. Whatever they do, just about any pairing would be better than Champion and Delgado...

No, the schedule certainly hasn't been finalized. Strangely, my Comcast guide shows a very old schedule for November 2nd: 4am ET WCL, 5:30 WUWA, AMHQ, WUWA repeat, and WCL until 8pm ET.

The intellistar maps haven't been updated, yet.

"I didn't leave Good Morning America to do a morning show, I mean why would I do that?"
- Sam Champion

Starting in January, he will finally "fulfill his dream" of having his own primetime program. The longform interview program will air once a week, focusing on climate change and other environmental issues...

Was anyone up early enough to see what they did from 5-7 ET this morning?

We're going to have TWC all night! Keith and Bonnie are on until 1am, and Nick Walker will be on 1-5.

Keith says there won't be any longform this weekend.

My guide said WCL will replace WUWA on Monday.
Yep... AMHQ isn't going to be extended until Sam leaves next month, and Stephanie moves down to Atlanta.

It will be interesting to see how the new morning show is configured. Abrams and Cantore would be good together, but all bets are off for who else will be there. I could see Jen Carfagno and Chris Warren coming to AMHQ, and I wonder if they might bring Maria back to weekday mornings (I never understood why they relegated her to weekends.) I just hope Jen Delgado won't be involved... Her shtick goes a long way towards making the current AMHQ unwatchable.

WUTV is still live at 8pm tonight. And, Keith and Kelly will be on from 9-midnight.

This would be a great schedule for every night...

Stephanie posted a photo collage on Instagram and said this is the last week of WUWA. It seems like we should be hearing about a replacement soon... Or perhaps they'll just do Weather Center Live temporarily while they get things sorted out.

I saw this too, but I don't think it's for TV. It sounds like "The Lift" will be on weather.com and the mobile apps.

The Weather Channel to Premiere New Series NATURAL BORN MONSTERS, 9/21

Quote
From land prowling fish to giant predatory reptiles and more... adventurer and EXPLORER Sean Duggan treks to the most remote stretches of the globe in search of mysterious creatures that have adapted to extreme weather and environments in new series, "Natural Born Monsters." In each episode, Duggan makes it his mission to unearth these fascinating creatures and investigate how weather came to shape both the wild claims around their existence and the wild beasts themselves.

I thought we stopped green-lighting these shows

TWC said in i'ts memo that it will air it's remaining reality shows already produced prior to September.

Too bad they can't get their money back for that one.... it looks awful.

Dave Clark will be talking about the coming changes with the Weatherbrains podcast tonight at 9:30 eastern, if anyone's interested.

So, Why couldn't TWC hold on to Vivian Brown???Looks they'll have airtime for her now. Makes me wonder if Vivian's leaving was the tipping point somehow? She left the same day WUWA was cancelled and now this. Maybe someone got fed up(Cantore?) OR TWC"s social media got flooded the day she left? Wonder if TWC will get some people back now?

I wouldn't be surprised to see her resurface as a contractor (like Nick Walker or Kelly Cass), who show up when needed to fill in, or anchor extended coverage. That is, if she's willing to work for much less money. I don't think her departure (or the reaction to it) had anything to do with today's announcements, though. AMHQ has been a failing show since it began, and the last-ditch move to bring on Cantore apparently didn't attract any viewers... at some point, they just have to cut their losses. This has been a long time coming.

Wow, a lot of great news! Things are about to get very interesting... who's ready to make some fantasy schedules?

This show is fun to watch. Its everyday weather and the viewers get to help choose topics. Sarah and Mike are a perfect team.

I couldn't agree more! Here's hoping they'll expand it to 3 hours in the upcoming shakeup.
