OCMs & Personalities / Re: More on Bob Stokes's departure?
« on: December 11, 2010, 05:06:08 PM »
I am sorry for bumping this 2+ year old topic, but does anyone still have copies of the lawsuit claim? Billy posted them earlier here, but the links are dead. Does anyone also have the TMZ video of Hillary and Stokes? I've been wondering where Hillary is now after that debacle

I have a hunch song #1 is by CC Gilmore/Samuel Lincoln but that will never be confirmed unless we get the November 2006 playlist and song #2 is Passion Avenue by Patrick Yandall.

Amen Patrick, I regret posting the playlist here after looking back :(

You can still put it up once you know that all the information is accurate.  I just want people to react better regardless of what is posted.  After all, several people like Chuck still want to see it.

I don't feel comfortable posting the playlist here, I'd rather email anyone interested for it. plus TWC didn't reply back to my email with the updated playlist.

Molly let me know if you want this taken down.. although its the one you deleted i thought Id share it for those uncomfortable with email addresses being given out http://zach.dyndns-ip.com:53205/twc/xmas.txt

that's not the actual holiday list :P

I will repost the list in a few.. I deleted it because I got tired of the complaining and insults  so I removed  it to calm some folks down, and because there were factual inaccuracies in the list I received. I'm  trying to get an updated one with the morning daypart

yeah, so far Linus and Lucy played on :08, :28 and :38. This was the first Xmas song I vividly remember hearing on TWC. The others were Eddie Reasoner's Snowflake, Michael Colone's Ice Fairies, and David Arkenstone's "I Saw Three Ships"

This is why some of you guys (not you Zach) shouldn't be pelting TWC with emails to start the list early...they started early and now we get a half-assed list.
Seriously? You think TWC actually listens to any of you in regards to starting these playlist? I think you are lucky if they even look at an artist someone recommends. I can't believe you think the playlist would be magically better if it started a week later. How can you tell by looking at a list of songs that it was rushed.  The Weather Channel could care less what a niche group of music fanatics think about their playlists.

Then, explain why over half of all these indie artists made it to the recent playlists? That's all i'm going to say warn me if you want.
charley langer, travis rogers, travis bridges, marcus anderson, michael haggins, bickley rivera, steve raybine, bd lenz, isaiah williams III were all artists i suggested months ago..and they made it in.

Honestly, that song needed a break. 19 years was long enough.
Scratch dat. :P Theres still We Three kings

Also, is there a morning daypart?

No Carol of the Bells by the Trans Siberian Orchestra?
Or David Foster :ermm: Also, wheres Holiday Dance
nope no morning daypart, which had the better songs. It's just the same old but don't be let down, i bet they will play the morning songs tomorrow. (the list seemed rushed)
