Going to bump this..and boy did I go on a SHOPPING SPREE today and yesterday..

Purchased the following:
Bought a iPod Wall Adapter from Apple and an iPod Touch shield cover for $50
Pny 16 GB Flash Drive from Best Buy for $20
A new backpack for $90
Notebooks, printer paper, folders, binders, pens from Staples ~ $30
Buffalo Chicken sandwich from Subway for $9
A new shirt , sandals, and some shorts from Kohls for around $84
Picked up Boney James' "Body Language" and "Shine" CDs from FYE for $15
Groceries from Pathmark for $80
And planning on buying a new Sony All-In-One Desktop computer at home for $1300 next month.

I'm really impressed with the WeatherNation setup so far, back when I first saw it, I was not so impressed. If they can land a spot on Dish Network and perhaps install regional units for cable headends, we could be seeing this as a direct competitor to TWC>

No HD feed in Daytona Beach, so I guess I'll never see it for myself. 

Wow, both Central FL brighthouse operations surely are taking their sweet time getting TWC HD onto their lineups

Interestingly, Bright House has more HD channels than Comcast has in Massachusetts!  But TWC HD is conspicuously absent for some reason.  No Weatherscan, either.  All I can think of is that Bright House has its own weather channel, but it's basically similar to a satellite local forecast on TWC with voiceover narration.  That, and Bright House has its own 24/7 local news station with rather detailed weather reports every 10 minutes.

do they play smooth jazz like TWC/WFMZ 69 Accuweather or boring production music?

I've seen worse. There was one in Perry, Kansas that was so degraded, you couldnt even read some of the forecasts.

That could be the result of the camera. Camera-made LFs are usually pretty awful. I don't see why anyone would want to see a degraded 4000 on a regular basis.

And that's why I try to avoid recording LFs with a camera in any circumstances.

When I was in Virginia Beach, nearly every car around me had North Carolina plates. Now, I realize it's near the NC border, but I really thought I was in North Carolina instead of Virginia Beach for a second!
