I'm going to be pissed though if this is indeed the format they're going to stick with for the long-run though. I thought the NBC corps mentioned the Local on the 8s are an integral and vital part of the network? Nowadays, I only watch TWC to listen to the music and to check my weather forecast - all of which are in the LOT8s. If they are planning on permanently removing the LOT8s, then playlists will probably be at jeopardy. While I don't think there's a danger to the playlists yet, I can't think what TWC would be without the playlists then. I'm sure many artists would be bummed

I hate math imp. I failed one quiz, when I realized it I made a bunch of stupid, careless mistakes. Otherwise, it could've been an easy A.

I don't think the playlist are going away. At least we have the 2 min lfs..the :08s and :18 locals are already shortened, so recording them would make no sense anyways

I doubt twc will get rid of the lfs like that permenantly. Twc would die without the lot8s

Omg yeah, before 9/11 I would always see that promo on air! I loved the graphics, music and the scene with the lady waiting for a taxi in the rain. Live by It brings back great memories, definitely some goodtimes for twc and the world alike

The classes I'm having problems with are required :/ I'm taking 6 classes and 16 credits but one of them isn't really a class, it's just a first year interest group

Is college supposed to be this hard? I'm failing 2 classes right now, and English might be a 3rd (nothing was graded yet), but the material is very difficult for me.

Do you know why you're having a difficult time with these classes?  Nip the problem in the bud before it starts to spiral out of control.  It's still very early in the semester, so you should still have a chance to correct the issue before it goes even further.  Set up appointments with your professors or teachers to discuss whatever problems you're having.  They might be able to help you figure out where you need to refocus your energies so that you can be successful in the classes.  The amount of coursework and homework, as well as the difficulty, is considerably more than in high school, and so you might need to "retrain" yourself to be a more efficient studier.

Are you having problems remembering facts?  Are you having problems comprehending the material from the beginning?
I'm not sure. It could be that I'm not used to such a heavy courseload, and that I'm not used to studying/learning the material more in-depth

I was in 3rd Grade at the time and I remembered seeing the teachers running around, panicking. Nobody told us about the attacks on the WTC or Pentagon though. We were all told to stay in the classroom and to not worry about anything. When i got off the bus, the street was strangely empty. The streets in my neighborhood were always filled with cars back on a weekday afternoon. I got home, my dad had CNN on, and he told me two planes hit the towers and both collapsed. I couldn't believe it at first bc I was just in NYC and around the twin towers just a few weeks ago. I almost started to cry because I couldn't believe that two majestic towers that dominated the skyline , vanished. Because of this, I always think about the pre 9/11 days and how life and society was better before the attacks. I wish I could go back to those days, they were the best. May god bless the victims and their families. My mom lost her friend's husband in law in the attacks

Very sad day indeed. NYC did show that the attacks did not stop their spirits n I kno that they will bond and unite together as a stronger community

Also, very little repeats. The only playlist with repeats is Daytime (2), Morning (1) and Primetime (5)

Yeah, just wish the trend of primetime jazz would have continued. This is the first time in at least a couple months there isn't really a jazz song there.
Yeah, it would be nice to put in a primetime jazz song on there
