Yes Japanese ones. Do you know how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop?

Hurricane Central / Re: Tropical Storm Debby

I honestly can't remember the last time I've seen so much severe weather reports in a single state just from a tropical storm. It's been pretty crazy in the Sunshine State today.
Hey could you get a microburst from a hurricane? I was wondering if a microburst could be the blame because we had a similiar thing happen when Irene struck.

Victor, I think something happened in the studio that got her upset.  It certainly wasn't the cruise ship itself.  At least she took the initiative to sincerely apologize.
You misinterpreted my post.
And I think you misinterpreted his post. His post was only directed at the first sentence from your above post. ;)
No, I didn't. Nobody knows why she yelled the expletive; she never disclosed the reason. I hope you realized I was joking about the cruise ship part because she dropped the f-word when they showed a clip of the cruise ship and it seemed like an awkward moment to be doing something like that

DON CARLOS - HOUSE OF BLUES

That song sounds really familiar. Either way, good beat with that one.

LOL at the cruise ship. Didn't know Carnival Lines was known for cursing  But in all seriousness, at least she apologized. And that wasn't the first time a news anchor in NY cursed. Back in March 2005, Arthur Chien of WCBS was fired for dropping the f-bomb behind two streakers at a subway entrance where he was reporting. Fortunately, WPIX picked him up immediately after.

For those who lived in the New York area, I had no idea Sue Simmons' final day on air was last Friday. I had heard about her contract not being renewed due to her $5 million salary back in March, but Scarborough makes a similiar amount (according to several news sites) o I don't see why NBC would can her solely on salary. Either way it's really sad. She and Chuck had been on air on WNBC for over 32 years. Simmons had talent that no other anchor could replicate. She was classy, professional, unpredictable, dangerous, knowledgeable all at the same time. I see now Shiba Russell has taken over her spot on the 11pm newscast. I like Russell but she's no replacement for Simmons. New York has lost a true talent. It is my hope that another news station will pick her up soon as it was not a voluntary decision to leave the network.

And yes, we all know about the on air slipup 4 years ago. That still hasn't stopped loyal viewers from tuning in.  WNBC is the only channel I watch for the news when I go to New York every other week so I guess its more time for Shiba then. :D

This is just another example of NBC at its finest.

Please excuse the double post but I was finally able to get the videos I wanted to WMV. The only problem is that the files are too big and I wanted to trim them down to 25MB so I can email them back to me as a backup.

However every time I go to WMM and try to save the files, it'll go no more than 10% and I get this message: "Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to the specified location. Verify that the original source files used in your movie are still available, that the saving location is still available, and that there is enough free disk space available, and then try again."

The videos play fine on WMM. I have enough free space and the original source files are still there. This is making me mad.  <_< I've done everything and I still get this error message on all 16 of the videos I'm trying to save. They ranged from 8 to 10 minutes in length. Do you guys know what else could be the problem? Could it be WMM having an issue processing with the file? In any case I am planning to install VirtualDub and use that to process my videos. Would you guys recommend it over Movie Maker?
