72 and cloudy. Finally a break from the hot and dry 101 degree temps we've been getting over the past few days

This was a terrible tragedy. Let me get this straight: according to a CNN article I read the guy shot 50 people?!?! Is he nuts?!?! They also concealed the theaters name ..though it mightve been mentioned somewhere. Sigh I haven't been to the movies in 3 years and this scenario    makes me a little more fearful now :/

Didn't see a topic similar to this one, so I thought I'd start it off.

What is your favorite scene and/or quote from any current or former TV show, whether it's live-action or animated?

One of my favorites is from the Simpsons "Treehouse of Horror V" episode, where Homer has this toaster which is a time machine, and in one scene, he is in a world where he and his family are wealthy. He asks Marge to pass him a donut, then Marge responds "Donut? What's a donut?" Homer then screams in horror, then runs back to the basement and goes back into time again. As soon as he left, it started to rain donuts in the world which he left. That scene was a classic to me

The Simpsons - No Tv and No Beer

I saw that scene before. That was a great one...one of the scenes I remembered the most back in the late 90s when I used to watch the simpsons like crazy XD

Hi everyone! Just signed up today, but have been a Weather Channel lover since winter 95/96 when my hometown of Greensboro, NC got hammered with snow! I'd watch it trying to figure out if I'd have school the next day! Of course, as is the case with many Weather Channel enthusiasts, I gained a huge interest in "Local on the 8s" and their music! Been watching ever since!

I have a question to ask, but don't know which forum to ask it on. Its about the Local on the 8s music. There was a song in the winter of 1996 that just stuck in my head for the longest time. I never heard it again for many years, but then in the late summer of 2004 or 2005, out of nowhere, the song from 1996 played on Local on the 8s!! Then I remember reading an article on this site, I think, about the weather instrument (Im a newbie :) ) being used at the time, 2004 or 2005, having technical glitches, and TWC having to use their old system and music for a brief period of time. Im wondering if that could have been my song repeat, and will get me one step closer to finding the song/artist!!

Thank you so much! And let me know if my question should be better asked in another forum!
Welcome to the forums! You can try posting in the classic forums "Local forecast" (1982-1999). I'm sure they'll be able to help you out.

Now you said the song was a repeat. You mean it played in 1996 and then again in 2004 or 2005 of those months? I don't see any matching songs it was likely that it was one of the Trammell Songs that played on the emergency feed back then

Have they used Mr Marvin by Candy Dulfer off of Sax a Go Go before?
