Oh dear. I hope TWC is just pulling our legs. I can't fathom their stupidity if this is actually going to be a show...  :wall:

But hey, on the bright side, at least there's jazz-type music in the promo! lol

It's great that vocals have been permanently removed, but hopefully that doesn't mean they'll keep the same two production songs forever.

They keep saying "We're still looking into what music will fit best on the LOT8's." As much as I want jazz back, I don't expect them to change the music anytime soon.

Too much "hell" on The Weather Channel.  First "Highway Through Hell," and now "Catching Hell."  What's next - a show called "Burning in Hell?"
Well, after all, The Weather Channel has "gone to hell" these past few years.  :D

Everything Else TWC / Re: General TWC Discussion

There supposedly is a dual-feed for TWC viewers that have cable in an area that severe weather is occurring, but what about the many viewers that have satellite? Since those customers don't see local STARs unlike cable subscribers, I assume they're unable to receive the severe weather coverage. This dual-feed system definitely has some big flaws.

Anywhere from $3.79 to $4.04. You know Memorial Day weekend is around the corner!

81°F and Fair. Our high temperature today was 86°F, although some locations in my area hit 90 degrees! This was the warmest day in my area since September 11, 2013.

TWC and your Cable Company / Re: Charter Communications Discussion
« on: April 08, 2014, 09:17:15 PM »
As of today, many Charter headends, including the one that serves me, have went entirely digital. Therefore, every TV must have its own cable box in order to get cable on it. In addition to the upgrade, several channels have been moved around, and TWC HD has been added. My SD TWC channel remained the same.

Hopefully TWC stays true to their word and goes back to more weather coverage (after all it is THE WEATHER CHANNEL).

So I wonder if DirecTV still has IS 24131, or another STAR?

Has anyone ever seen this phrase of the text forecast? (Sorry for the poor photo quality.)
"Showers early with mainly sunny skies later in the day as drier air moves in on gusty breezes."
I've never seen that phrase on the IS before.

Spyro Gyra will be performing at my city's "River Raisin Jazz Festival" in August! I can't wait!

Does anyone else think that the beginning of "First Light" by My Morning Jacket sounds a bit like "Seventh" by Fred Gross?
