i asked around on fb to twc meteorologists about when the set would be decorated and the music played dr greg forbes had this to say...(I believe that poinsettias will decorate the set starting about a week before Christmas. I would think that we will play holiday music, but I don't know any details on that.) if we want the play list to start sooner all of you that have facebook request to dr forbes or anyone else at twc to start the playlist earlier

I agree that the Christmas music should start earlier than December 17-18.

I submited a photo to the Top 5. (iwitness@weather.com). Hopefully it will air this evening. BTW, I sent it around 4:20 PM, do you think that's too late in the day to send it? They might've already made the Top 5. 

Top 5 is videos only.....   

There were photos on there several times. It a mix of videos and photos.

Warm, 55 and fair. Cool this morning, there was some freezing fog. (And a 2 hour delay of school!)

Now, I don't mind the Thanksgiving programming line-up. Hardly anybody will be watching TWC that evening, most people will be spending time with family. I'm glad TWC on-cameras get to do that too.

Picking 5 (or is it 6?) songs out weekly that are only going to air for a week is a lot simpler than doing a monthly playlist.

Where is your source regarding weekly playlists? (Not that I'm doubting you or anything)

Gas prices now up above $3 in my area. 3.05 at the Meijers gas station in Monroe, MI.

Hopefully Monroe, Michigan will get a snowstorm on Thanksgiving, Christmas,  New Years, and Groundhog Day. I doubt I'll get that lucky. According to a few sites, I may get an accumulating snow around the 20th of November. Too far off  for accuracy, though.
