45 Mostly Sunny. Heavy rain expected to move in later this evening through Tuesday morning. 1"-2" of rain is possible by lunchtime Tuesday. Flurries Tuesday Night and Wednesday.

I don't think there will be a November playlist at all. It's already the 29th, so IMO, it's too late for a November playlist.

Correct. This topic will have to be renamed December 2010 Playlist or January 2011 Playlist, depending on when the list begins.

Hopefully a new list will start soon, judging by the patterns I expect it to start Thursday primetime/Friday overnight or Tuesday overnight/morning

I hope it will start on Wednesday. I miss playlists that started on the first day of the month.

the playlists have never started on a wednesday with the exception of the June playlist which started Friday overnight. It's usually Tuesday overnight or Thursday primetime.

Or sometimes Tuesday primetime, according to the Dec 2009 playlist starting at 5:08 PM 11/17/09.

As for my predictions, going along with the Tuesday/Thursday pattern, I'll say 11/30, but more likely to be 12/2. Another theory, though, is that the current playlist may play until the holiday list is aired, then the January 2011 list will go into effect between the 25th of December and the 5th of January. Just my theory.

Yesterday, coming back from the local forecast, Maria LaRosa and Todd Santos names were flip-flopped, (under Todd Santos was the name Maria LaRosa, under Maria LaRosa was the name Todd Santos.)

28 Cloudy. The wind chill is 15, but at Sterling State Park this evening, the wind made it feel like 0 degrees at most.

Precip expected to move in around 5 or 6 this evening, possibly mixing with sleet at first, and rain through tomorrow (Thanksgiving) evening, where it may mix or change to snow and sleet. A dusting to 1/2 inch of snow is possible Thursday night and Friday. A total of an inch of rain possible Wednesday night and Turkey Day.

For anyone who has contact with personel at TWC, could you ask them to extend the Holiday playlist to 2 weeks, instead of just 1? We hardly even get to hear the music, and then it's gone. Starting the list around the 10th, or even as late as the 15th, would be fine with me, and probably for all of us TWCC/Today members, along with thousands of other TWC fans. Thank you!

Did anyone watch WV last Sunday? Well, on a map for Monday's forecast (which is now behind us), an XL snow icon slid in for a few seconds and slid back out!

And now, the national SD LDL cues out differently. Instead of the LDL going completely blank and cuing out like it did before, the yellow bar and the TWC logo are still on when the it cues out.

I saw that, it was neat. But, I think TWC still uses those icons for on-camera forecast maps, because this happened several times in the past few months. Always great to see those nice icons!

I knew Nicole wasn't going to be on because of her military duty.

She has been juggling military duty and on air work just fine until now. I think it may have been her personal decision to leave. I will miss the Nicole and Paul partnership

Nicole isn't gone. This is what her Facebook post said (22 hours ago, so at about 8 PM Monday):
Watching a storm system that could impact holiday travel in some places. Paul and I will be with you at 10pm EDT!
