Your welcome, Trevor, but again, you may want the TWC STAR Team to confirm my words. :)

Your IntelliStar may have just been updating some information, and not all of the screens were updated. Most IntelliStar's usually update info at 10:10 AM, 6:20 PM, and 9:10 PM EST, (9:10AM, 5:20PM, and 8:10PM CST), or even more often during a severe weather event where constant updates may be veered necessary. My forecast temperature for tonight on my IntelliStar at that same time read: 6:19 EST (5:19 CST), 14 degrees. 10 minutes later, it forecasted 1 degree for tonight. Occasionally I have seen that same error/bug on my IntelliStar and usually doesn't last for more than one local forecast or an LDL segment.

Though, you may want to hear it from professionals like the TWC Star Team as they may know it better than I do. :)

Everything Else TWC / Re: What would you do to improve TWC?
« on: January 08, 2011, 03:08:23 PM »
Basically remove the weeknight longform in the earlier proposed schedule.. Other than that i have no problems whatsoever of how TWC handles their productions. If constant ad campaigns, one program out of all the others, the graphic preferences, music selections, etc. bother you, then dont even bother watching

I remember snow/heavy snow/blowing snow advisories being issued in my area, up until 2008. I wondered where they went. But yes, the NWS should bring back those alerts because they are much more detailed than Winter Storm Warning or Blizzard Warning. In fact, a few counties not too far from me a few weeks ago were put under a blizzard warning, which really should have been Snow and Blowing Snow advisories. A blizzard warning makes people think that they'll see a foot of snow being blown around by hurricane force winds, however the realistic alert- Snow and Blowing Snow advisory just tells people to use extra caution on roads, not hype a "blizzard."

So, definately.

Try to deliver newspapers in single digit temps, below zero wind chills, and diamond dust snow, like how I had to at 6AM this morning. :brr:

Has anyone ever remembered or seen a video of Chris Edwards on TWC from the early/mid 80's?
Or does anyone know who Chris Edwards is?
