I really miss SCI cable. At least I could watch the Wx4000 whenever the LOT8s came on.
They're still in business in rural KS neighborhoods, though. I don't know about Florida (moving there next year), because I really want to see the Wx4000 in my home state <3

« on: March 04, 2016, 12:26:41 AM »I don't have a Roku currently (well I do, but it's in the storage, along with my WX4000 tapes), but thank God for TV25! At least I have something similar to the weather channel...I have WN on my Roku. I also cut my cable since it's too expensive for a bunch of stuff I hardly ever watch.Ditto, I cut my DISH service last spring and have no plans to ever resubscribe. There's nothing good on TV these days anyways.
WN is available on Roku, and I believe you can even view it as a live stream on their website, too.
I also don't have cable, but for a very different reason. The prices are too high, and I can't afford to pay them any longer. I'm paying for too many things currently, such as the storage and other stuff. I wish I could watch it again (TCM was my favorite channel, besides TWC) so that I could record more of the LOT8 segments. Once I get everything from the storage and have them settled, I'll be able to get cable and record the LOT8 segments again.

How do you get Weather Nation without cable?A new affiliate, named "WROB" came to town and is now offering WeatherNation here in Topeka. I also just got my PVR, too, so I can record the Local Forecast segments and upload them here.
