Charter Spectrum and NBCUniversal are in a dispute over carriage fees. Millions of Charter customers such as myself could lose access to the NBCUniversal channels, including The Weather Channel, if the two parties cannot come to an agreement by this Sunday, New Year's Day.

It's usually pretty dead on these forums, primarily because people such as myself are often busy with work, school, etc. Plus I think a lot of users here have lost interest in The Weather Channel since its "Weather All The Time" relaunch three years ago, though there might be an occasional boost in activity here (albeit rarely) if something big comes up. I stop by here from time to time to see what's new, but that's pretty much it.

I'm watching the marathon as I speak. It looks so peaceful and calming, especially with all of the soothing piano music. 
There are ad breaks during as usual. The LDL is the long-form version, and the best part is, there are LFs on every 8s of the hour, not just at :18.

54º and overcast. Got jolted by a small earthquake here (a magnitude 3.8 per the USGS) less than a hour ago.

57º and cloudy. It was a much different story about 72 hours ago when my area got slammed by multiple strong and potentially tornadic thunderstorms. My weather radio picked up 27 warnings on Friday. 10 of those warnings were Tornado Warnings, which are quite rare to see in this region especially that many in a single day!
