So, wait, it ends not the day after this Chooseday, but the day after the Chooseday after that? Gotcha.

Well, this is a turn of events; Sharon came back tonight while Rich is now taking a load off.

This is a weird week...

Ok, time to dispel some rumors. First of all, Cantore's Stories is NOT a show. It is a special airing all next week wherein Jim Cantore will be showing favorite episodes of SS and giving tips. Think of it as a best of. Here's a link to a commercial:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMXNBYO9sA0

Stephen, though I know you won't admit it, I'll admit it for you: you don't remember this show. They have never done this with SS before.

That video is actually something entirely different from last year; I didn't remember this myself until I saw that ad.

This year's "Cantore Stories: On Top of The World" sounds like something completely different and unrelated, and it doesn't start until November 10th.

Wow, that was an awesome shot; they showed Rich sitting all the way to the left of the big desk (with a different-than-usual wall shot behind him), then the new "cylinder" graphic flew in with the Evening Edition logo and city background (from the recorded teaser) on it. Pretty cool, IMO

Sharon's off tonight; I wonder if this is just a one day thing or if she's taking another week-long load off. :P

Even though it's Sunday...

"Good morning, it's Sunrise Weather time, and I'm meteorologist Ray Stagich."

Methinks TWC is a bit shorthanded...

Do they ever show the older Weather Classroom anymore, or just the WWCH specials with the Cable in the Classroom logo?

They showed the Dr. Fujita episode the week before the new season of WWCH started, but it's been WWCH ever since.

Out of all of his recent partners, Dave always seems to be most comfortable when working with Kim or Vivian.

Dave is filling in on Weekend Now today, he's he's really been "being Dave" this past hour. At :10, he was covering the cold air and lake effect snow coming into the midwest, so he went into a whole thing teasing us with stuff like, "Oh, you're in Chicago? Well, you're going to wake up tomorrow with temps in the 50s, and you'll be like, 'Oh, Dave, what are ya talkin' about? It's 50 degrees!' Well, just you wait, by Sunday night and Monday, ho ho ho! It's going to be cooold! And east of the lakes, it's going to be snowin'! Let's look at those temps! Let's look at em' Come on! YES! That's what I'm talkin' about! What do ya think of them apples, Kim?"

Then during the Lifestyles introduction and the toss to break afterward, he kept not wanting to shut up because he was on such a role. They switched to the ceiling camera going to break, so Dave waved goodbye to us while reminding us that he's Dave Schwartz along with Kim Perez, and they'll be back right after this!

During the :20 segment, Dave started dancing to the production music while going to break. :P
