Apparently this is the business that Jim had with NBC this week...he's doing sideline reporting at the Sunday Night Football game because it's so windy there; apparently they saw it as a nice opportunity for some cross-promotion.

Ya know, I was just wondering the other day if they still had the old era's packages ready to be cued even after the HD transition, and what do you know? At the end of Weekend Outlook this morning, they played the ending portion of last era's WO bumper music. Wow, never thought I'd hear that on the air again!

I wouldn't guarantee that; this could just be the same thing they did on Black Friday where the DP crew goes four hours, followed by long form; then the PM Edition crew picks up the one hour of WC in addition to PME. As of right now, that's what I'm predicting to happen.

Wow, the whole beginning of Carol of the Bells sounds messed up on the SD feed, but, IIRC, it sounds perfect on the HD feed. I can't remember it being messed up on the SD feed like that last year.
