Now they're replacing the segment with a live re-shoot for this hour and the next repeat hour.

I'm going to check if the disc held up at around 1:15 CT so that I can record it again off the DVR if it failed; I'll hopefully post it shortly thereafter.

Is there a video of that, Jae? I'd love to see it if there is...

The other one that really sticks out to me was in 2005 when Hillary Andrews started laryngitis; she couldn't even finish the segment, so they just played the 03-05 WO theme to end the final minute or so of the segment. Honestly, she shouldn't have even gone on the air that day as bad as she sounded.

It's a shame there's no known video of that one out there... :(

I hopefully have it too on DVD as long as my recorder holds up...

I don't know if it sounded like he was going to throw up; to me it just sounded like he was having a coughing fit that he couldn't stop. Almost the same thing happened to him back in November on this show, just that time the coughing fits happened closer to the end of the segment, not giving us anywhere near this amount of music.

Yet again, Carl has gotten into another coughing fit on EEWC, and he gave up the segment a minute early, leaving us with a minute-long serenade of EE music while the maps progressed through full-screen.

Has the audience barometer segment made a return to A&B recently? I was just browsing A&B's site and saw that the poll there was updated for the first time since the segment was discontinued in January. It was about what the top weather story of 2008 should be. That was also the first update I've seen on that site since before the HD relaunch.
That was just a special feature in conjunction with their "Top 10 Weather Stories of 2008" segment; the regular Audience Barometer has not returned.

Looks like they decided to simply repeat the hour despite the live radar being shown; really slick there, TWC.

Now Rose Colored Glasses (AKA BradleyRoll) played at 1:58 CT.
Say what?  BradleyRoll?
It's a joke because during the first two days of December, they were playing that song so much that it quickly became annoying.

I just skimmed through the last hour of EE on my DVR, and I noticed that the LF cued at :06, :36, and :53. That's messed up.

Now Rose Colored Glasses (AKA BradleyRoll) played at 1:58 CT. Why the heck did they stop the Christmas music ON Christmas?!?

The Weekly Planner also strangely used the Monday, Chooseday, and Friday opening theme music instead of the normal segment opener music; I have a feeling that someone different may be operating this show.

Ray Ban's retiring and being replaced by an NBCU guy:

Ugh, I can only imagine things are going to get worse from there...

Also, they used the A&B set colors for the first segment of FO today before finally fixing it for the second segment. That was a great idea there! :P
