Just now on First Outlook; they used a lower third with a lowercase bottom line. I don't believe I've ever seen that with the current lower thirds before.

Oh, sorry; I read the last part of your other post as, "It's filed with people on contract."

Who winds up getting the grunt work of working behind the scenes today?

Probably just a coincidence, but fitting nonetheless. :P

Dwight (AKA Awesome Master Control operator) appears to have this Easter Sunday off, and it really shows. There have been numerous production slip-ups during this broadcast, including just a few seconds ago. When they came back from break, the camera went to Kristina, who had a deer-in-the-headlights look and said "Okay" to the master control operator before finally acknowledging that she was on the air.

OCMs & Personalities / Carl & Kristina - Back together again

Looks like Mike Seidel didn't catch his flight back to Atlanta (He said it was a possibility when he was live from Gurnee, IL on Friday), so they called Carl in to work the evening alongside Kristina. Carl and Kristina lasted worked together three years ago this month.

PME and EE are all one shift on weekends. ;)

3:30 PM CT - Summer Weather Center opener

This looks like what we saw last fall; the weekend team kept using the winter opener at the bottom of every hour up until the official transition into the winter openers in December.

They're not valid yet? What is this; an NWS watch?

Seriously though, Happy Easter, everybody!

I don't know either; Mike wasn't very specific. :P

My money's on Mike Seidel. Anyone want to bet against me?

Before that, they accidentally displayed a custom-made WxPro map showing departures from average highs, followed by a Viz|Weather map about snowfall amounts. After the screenshot posted in this topic, they went to break, followed by Storm Stories. The titles in the list in the screenshot really do look like the titles of WxPro maps (probably for the Weather Center show at 3 PM ET), so I'm guessing it's that.

There was definitely an issue going on there; a sponsor insert appeared after the WWCH bumper at 1:00 AM CT, but whoever was in master had the skill to immediately switch right over to the taped broadcast without having to go to the emergency feed and sort things out from there.

I'm guessing Kyle probably knows. (This displayed at the end of Day Planner today when they were trying to source Viz 200.)

From the looks of it, I'm going to guess WeatherPro based on the titles of the files listed. Let's see if I'm right or not.

(Off the subject)

I just realized that my mom's alarm clock sounds like the IntelliStar alert tones. When I heard it a second ago, I was thinking, "WTF? Why am I hearing IS alert tones?"
