At 12:52 AM ET, Adam showed a graphic for the Boston Marathon and the temperature wasn't updated on the graphic so it just displayed a dash where the temperature should've gone. Also the LIVE tag appeared during that graphic for some reason.

Yeah, that got really weird there. I wonder what was going on.

They played "Change of Seasons" by Mark Krurnowski when going to break at 11:36 PM CT. I love that song!

Dave has been getting paired with way too serious OCMs as of late. Can't the powers that be look out for us viewers and pair him with someone else who's willing to play around?

Seriously, Dave and Adam have only worked together on the air twice. (once this past February and once in spring 2007)

This was posted in the HD Star video thread, wasn't it?

In that case, I guess that would mean simply making the bar flush with the bottom of the screen. It's been a while since I've looked at the demo video.

I guess that means removing the blue bar below the content area of the LDL, making the content flush with the bottom of the screen.

The only problem is that it might look awkward if the top of the HD LDL terminates below the start of the content area of the lower thirds and other graphics.

Isn't WSI just the technology division of Landmark?

They used the winter opener at the bottoms of the hours; it was the exact opposite yesterday as well as on Easter Sunday.

I also noticed that they're using the old Climate Code music for some of the Earth Day coverage on the air.

Most of the show graphics were probably done by external design agencies. We know for sure that The Your Weather Today and Weekend View graphics were done by Troika Design, but I don't know if we know who designed the rest of the graphics.

They're doing WWC with the EE backdrop up. That's odd.

Interesting, Carl and Kristin did the first hour of PME again today. I wonder if this is permanent.

They also accidentally ended the show with EE music, and Carl and Kristin each accidentally walked in front of the key wall when they weren't supposed to during that segment, as well.

To me, Sam is in the exact same position as Kelly Cass was before she came to PME: I don't see her very often. I'm rarely up to watch Weekend View, and I'm either at school or sleeping (depending on if it's a school day or not) when she's on Day Planner. The only time I do see her is for a few minutes when she's filling in on YWT or on days like today where I actually have to get up early on a Saturday morning.

Kim Perez and Nick Walker have also done this almost every morning that I've watched or recorded for the past several weeks. I think more and more teams are starting to copy the Heather/Marshall trend.

When I saw Rich act sort of fairy like and whimsical at the start of the 11:43 CT Weekly Planner, I would have downed the whole bottle had I been old enough to drink.

Rich really is on the silly pills lately; not that that's a bad thing. :P

@ Billy: I thought of that, as well. Perhaps different amounts depending on the closeness to the exact phrase. You're guaranteed to pass out by the end of the night.

@ Matt: I'm pretty sure people actually did have a drinking game during the Dave & Hillary era of EEWC. "My friend" merited a drink, and any time that Hillary said something stupid or screwed up in some way also merited a drink. There might have been other events that prompted a drink, but I don't remember it very well.
