Eboni Deon has been doing a lot of fill-in work on Weekend Now as of late, so this might just be a temporary setup. I'm curious how this will all work out.

Wow, nice job finding the link to the tour that we're not supposed to see yet! I love you.

I'm curious why they have two key walls in there and why they promote them in the tour. Have they abandoned the plan to use projectors?

It's also interesting how they put the couch in there. I wonder if that's where they'll do Weekend View in addition to using the couch for other segments during regular shows.

The rotating desk is an interesting idea. I wonder what will determine which of the 11 views will be used at a given time. I'm also curious what the "work desk" will be used for.

I also noticed that the color scheme pays homage to the two current sets. About half of the studio orangish-yellow near the ceiling followed by three rows of blue, much like the "pillars" in the main studio. The other half of the studio seems to be designed like the Weekend View studio.

At any rate, a little less than 29 1/2 days until the big launch.

I just happened to be checking the weather.com bios, and I noticed that Jennifer Lopez's name has been removed from the OCM list. I guess she has already broadcast her last show. I wonder if Carl and Jennifer both purposely wore black for their last show together this past Sunday; it sure seemed that way. I'm really going to miss Jennifer.

At the same time, Alex Wallace's bio has been added to the OCM list, so I'm thinking he might be appearing on the air with a permanent spot. Honestly, if I had to guess based on what we now know about Jeff going to First Outlook, I'd say Kim Perez will take Jennifer's old spot alongside Kevin Robinson, and Alex Wallace will work alongside Vivian.

If my prediction holds true, I'm really not liking the way the pairings are going these days. I never thought I'd say that Rich and Sharon would be the best thing TWC has going for them. (not counting Abrams & Bettes since that's a little different from normal shows)

Since it's still WC, I just noticed Kelly Cass and Betty Davis are hosting this show. Why?

They do that when Storm Stories is preempted so that both teams work three hours.

My God, at the start of this segment, Sharon lost it and could not stop laughing. Then the camera went to her, and she was practically collapsed on the desk out of laughter. Apparently there was some inside joke going on about May being a transition month, and she was laughing at the video of snow in May; at least that's what Rich said.
