The emergency feed displays on satellite during the LF periods right now, so I'm thinking the satellite LF system is broken again.

I wonder if the satellite LF failed again. I tuned in late and only caught the Trammell part.

That's an effect of the key wall. He's probably getting a faint reflection of green on his clothes, causing it to be keyed out. You won't see anything on anyone's clothes since the projection will be coming from behind the screen.

What are you talking about? They're not in the HD studio yet.

Local Forecast / Re: May 2007 Playlist

I still don't believe that January/February and March/April were combined. I could've sworn that I heard different music every month and that the bi-monthly playlists didn't start until May. I remember us all being surprised with the change to bi-monthly when the same music from May also played in June.

If Brian Picard started in October 2007, does that mean that Steve Hurst was actually responsible for the vocal music in May 2007 and the subsequent switch to the bi-monthly format, or was there an interim music director? Nevertheless, the playlists returned to being monthly when Mr. Picard took over.

Yep, I'd say it's permanent.

So, will this be the permanent new look for the Lot8s logo?

A few seconds ago, Rich was so anxious to start his catchphrase that he actually cut Sharon off mid-sentence. :P

You know, the new HD commercial is eerily similar to another commercial I've seen before on a certain network that forecasts weather...

Rich: Let's take a look at some of the snow out west.

Sharon: All right, that sounds like a plan.

Here's a video of that (actually about 30 seconds of music)

Did anyone notice the 2006-esque production values on PME tonight? They played the PME music when going to almost every break, and they often came back from break by playing the PME stinger, as well. To add to that, they also respected the PME opener and allowed the music to slowly fade out like they did in 2006 instead of interrupting it with production music. There was even a 43-second music segment that played at the end of Samantha Mohr's map segment that reminded me of 2006 when they used to blast the PME music over the map segments before going to break. Awesome.

So, I guess this new upcoming show with Kelly and Betty that Carl told us awhile back has been scratched?
I don't think that was ever a plan. Carl was probably just talking about WWCH, but the idea just happened to be in the same sentence as the mention of Kelly and Betty being paired.
