they finally added cloud moisture coverage to the radars  i thought i would never see the day

That's actually a bad thing when combined with radar like it is. Employing two different color schemes in one map is just stupid. Hopefully they'll realize this and change it back.

Well folks, in a surprise move, TWC started rolling out the new HD-style maps for the SD satellite LF this morning during Day Planner. I must say, the new maps are a nice fresh change to the somewhat stale appearance of the satellite LF. The Intellistar could really use this package.

This is different. That's the first time I've ever seen the WCBS forecast used during EEWC. Normally it's only used during regular EE and A&B.

Good to have Sharon back!

On that note, while I was typing this, they changed the camera to her wall while she was already standing there, so she just "appeared".

ESPN and many other HD networks have similar studio philosophies. They look quite beautiful.
