Saying the catchphrases at the desk seems to have become a relatively new thing in the last two weeks or so.

I think we're all in favor of a new schedule with less long form!
Although once the new season of WWCH starts, those episodes will probably air on weekdays again.

It just seemed like it was done because Dave couldn't fill-in for that shift for whatever reason.Is Nick's new shift now PM Edition alongside Betty? Dave and Viv have been together all week with no sign of Samantha.
I heard somewhere taht he was indeed moved to this new timeslot on a permanent basis.

We've always complained about live weather being cut away for recorded programs, and now that they've (TWC) finally woken up and listened to us, were complaining that the long-form programs are disappearing! I don't get it!

Sam just probably has the week off, or at least I would think that's the case. Nick and Sam ought to return to their normal spots next week; it was actually Carl and Betty on PME Tuesday and Wednesday and just Carl on Monday.

My CBS used to do that for all 4:3 programming, including the local news and The Late Late Show, and it always bugged me. They stopped doing it with the new year, though.
