On another note, they've also made new, slightly modified ads for YWT and EE. In one of them, the couple on the couch from that HD Vision video is watching EE instead of the HD LF on their TV.

Nope, sorry, but the title bars had the exact same metallic appearance with the triangular cut-off edges. I'm surprised they couldn't do something original. :P

Did anyone see ESPN's coverage of the NBA draft last night? Their graphics for the player profiles looked almost just like TWC's new map graphics.

Sweet!

Aren't they going to need more OCMs to pull off all these hours?

I didn't see the Global Forecast with music. :( When I saw it, they just did it silently.

YWT also has them, but again, they don't use them every day.

Rich just called the show "West Coast Evening Edition".

Never quite heard it used that way before...
I've heard that name being used a few times during the Dave and Hillary era.

You mean with "West Coast" being said first?

I would laugh if Master Control has a failure when the segments that Mike mentioned are supposed to repeat, making his times incorrect.

Is First Outlook in HD yet?
Nope. They were still in SD this morning.

Billy, stop lying. :P  :footinmouth:

Where is/was the set used for the Weather Classroom at?

I think Jae (or someone else that visited there, not completely sure) said that it was actually upstairs on the ground floor and that there was also a key wall there. Jae, could you clarify this?

This has been a weird PM Edition so far. If having Mike Seidel and Kristina Abernathy anchoring wasn't enough, when they tried to go to the Midwest with Kristina, they accidentally sourced the now-defunct WPS, which was displaying an old-style Southeast current temperatures with some overlays at the bottom that looked to be something that only the OCMs would normally see on their monitors.

It's quite possible. Obviously that set was versatile enough to support something like this.

Last night, they even used an on-the-fly opener with the sound effect that they used to use with the 07-08 ones. that brings back bad memories... >_<

Are we sure Troika did the music? There's a possibility that they only did the graphics unless there's proof otherwise.
