Everything Else TWC / Re: General TWC Discussion

Now the tide has turned, and TWC is using an NBC live report right now. Apparently the relationship works both ways...
And when trying to go to the live feed, Kristin asked producer Terrence (I'm pretty sure he's been mentioned before) if they had the feed.

Yep, he's normally the producer for the big EE Weekend show, so I guess Paul and Alex had their usual Weekday EE producer with them while Adam and Kristin get to also have their own familiar producer on board for their coverage.

SR, you wouldn't happen  to have any of the SA openings, or graphics in HD, would you? :worship:
I have the last 36 hours of coverage in HD; just tell me what you want, and I'll provide. :P

BTW, Adam just took a page out of Sharon's book and suggested that people in some of the affected areas shouldn't head out and about; rather, they should stay indoors and take a load off. :P

The desk now appears to be in the EEWC position, and even though Adam did a segment from the "side room" with the LCD screen, the background lights were off, as was the TWC logo on the wall. Apparently that's what that room normally looks like during EEWC?

The rest of the set still appears to be on full lighting mode as opposed to the darkened EEWC mode, though.

According to Adam, this is "Evening Edition East...West Coast, rather." <_<

My sources say that gremlins are the problem.

OCMs & Personalities / Re: Old Weather Channel Pairings?

From videos I have, Dave/Lisa and Carl/Sharon all anchored EE weekend in the same 4-person format as weekday EE at the time before long, that format felt apart on the weekend as Sharon and Rick took over sole anchoring duties of the show; I believe Dave and Lisa/Sandra took over weekday duties at the same time. Back during the aforementioned 2001 period, however, it was Carl and Sharon who anchored EEWC Thursday-Sunday while Dave and Lisa only handled Monday and Tuesday.

Well, that's kind of dull.

Hmmm...no LF. I guess maybe only at :28 and :58, maybe at :18 and :48? (at least for primetime)

1315
I wonder how they're going to handle this. Will they go commercial-free? Will they show one-minute local forecasts at 08, :18, :38, and :48, with two-minute flavors at :28 and :58? Will there be new Storm Alert LF music? It's now 8:08 and there has been no local forecasts yet.
I was just about to post something to this effect... :P

NASCAR is in Fontana; watching that will put you to sleep.

Now the podium is back to yellow again, just as it was at this time last hour.

DirecTV's guide is also showing the half-hour WWCH in that timeslot with the 3:30 - 4 AM CT block currently blank; my guess is that Sunrise Weather will appear in that block on the guide before long. I wonder what the thinking behind this move is - yet another low-rated, poorly produced show?
