So, Kristin is wearing key wall green tonight. They'd be screwed if the projector wall were to fail... :P

A few minutes ago, Kristin gave credit to Warren Madden for being a part of the Hurricane Hunters. Usually only Nicole Mitchell gets mentioned since Warren's no longer a full-time staffer. So apparently Warren's still around even though he hasn't appeared for a while.

I predicted that one. It's something that you pretty much know; when Adam's doing a radar update, and there's precip on the map...

"OK, let's go ahead and DIVE into this one."

Nope, just three hours of First Outlook branded as Weekend Outlook. I wonder if we'll see anything special Sunday morning with the main Hannah threat being out of the way.

It all depends on how it turns out. From the looks of things, Ike is going to have to strengthen all over again after its Cuba landfall, but the NHC still forecasts it to be a major hurricane by Thursday, so Ike should wind up being a major event. It's still too early to know for sure, of course.

They just had Dr. Forbes at the telestrator seat of the big desk while in the WWC configuration; that's something they've never done before.

On another note, Since Dave and Eboni are on right now, they must be preparing for preemption later tonight with Carl and Kristina.

Wow, I guess they're not hyping it nearly as much as they seemed to be. I guess they figure Hannah isn't much of a ratings interest at this point. :ermm:

Now that I think of it, hasn't it been almost two years since Jeff and directly followed Rich on live shows? My how time flies...

They're doing a special edition of Weekend Outlook with Jen and Jeff using the same set configuration as FO, but possibly with the less-experienced WO production staff; the camera work thus far has been less than stellar.

After a long night, Rich finally went ahead and said it at 2:53 AM CT.

Adam: Now Rich, you've got a look at some weather stateside here.

Rich: Yeah, let's do that.

What the heck? Adam just said that Jeff Morrow and "company" are coming up at the top of the hour. I guess TWC doesn't want the Weekend Outlook gang anchoring their landfall coverage.
