It's so nice to have the tropics quiet again; for the first time in weeks, Adam was finally able to say, "Oh man, highs only in the 70s? That is good sleeping weather, everybody, while you're headed out to work on Chooseday, I'll be sleepin' in!"

Except for the left side behind the map wall; those are still light blue, making the set unmatching. That's not good.

PME is also using the dark blue horizontal lights, and WWC is using the orange/yellow morning desk colors. They really need to get these set colors fixed back to normal again.

On the positive side, Adam and Kristin are about to answer some more questions from the gang just like they did last night, so stay tuned!

BTW, this update also fixed the issue with the forecast not appearing on the LDL during EEWC. Good to finally see that fixed.

Last night I had a dream that Ike had strengthened from a Tropical Storm to a Category 4 hurricane over Missouri and that it was coming right for me. It made no sense, but it was actually pretty scary...

That map has always been in the same place there. Studio 1A was slightly off to the right of the map from that perspective.

They actually used a lot of behind-the-desk shots, especially into 2006 when they renovated the behind-the-desk area and replaced all of the CRT screens with LCD screens. The practice dwindled after that year, but they still used the camera shot from time to time in 2007 and 2008 until they decommissioned the studio.

Then a few seconds, Titan froze, so they switched over to an alternate Titan source, and Rich responded, "Yeah, let's go right here."
