Kelly continues being an OCM of many hats today as she served as Travel Analyst on YWT this morning while Nicole Mitchell anchored. This is quite odd considering that normally they have Kelly anchoring while Nicole remains as Travel Analyst. Could this be a sign that Nicole might be Marshall's replacement?

I just watched the first hour of today's FO from my recording; at :20, Kelly said something you don't hear very often:
"It's 20 past the hour now; we'll take a look at the precip in just a little bit with Jeff, but first the jet stream."
Then when she was done with the jet stream outlook, she tossed to Jeff, and he said something that you do hear very often:
"All right, let's do that!"

"master control" still does their normal duties like every other network, but they no longer produce shows.
This doesn't surprise me given how much the production quality went up when they went HD.

Syndication is separate from the networks, which often why you see NBC shows turning up on ABC affiliates, CBS shows on FOX affiliates, etc.

Afternoon Outlook did one show from 1A in November 2005 when 1B was unavailable for some reason. Overnight Outlook did a Storm Alert edition from 1A during the landfall of Rita with Dave and Hillary. Good times.
