Desktop on my 13.3" white refurbished 2006 model MacBook I recently acquired from a local Apple reseller that opened up here recently. It's a great little machine, especially for its age.

Stephen, that's only one unit with multiple videos. The degration looks to be gone for the most part, as the top video was just recorded a few days ago.

The first clip is from State College, and the others are from Somerset/Seven Springs. I don't think they're the same unit.

Good for Nicole!  I knew something was up when she was let go. I recall her mentioning on her Facebook page about the time she was let go that they had complained about her military service impacting her availability to work. And considering how TWC has treated OCMs in the past, I'm not too surprised to hear about this.

I really hope she wins this; she deserves it after having to put up with TWC's crap.

Hi guys! 

Gosh, it has been quite a few months since I've last been active here. I have been busy, mostly finishing up school and whatnot, but now that I have a little more free time, I decided to stop by here and see how everybody's doing. I see a few new faces here (or maybe just new usernames I don't recognize), but several of you I remember of course.

I'll try to be more active here through this summer. I never realized how long I have been inactive, but I guess these days time has a way of just passing you by. I've certainly missed you guys!

I tried clearing my cache, but I'm still seeing this problem (only with the Quick Reply, the regular one is/was fine).

Odd, its happening on my laptops Chrome but not on my desktops Chrome (I will say now though that the desktop is XP and the laptop is Windows 7 if that helps)

I'm experiencing this issue using Chrome on Windows XP, so I don't think OS has any relevance to the issue. It could be that your cache hasn't been cleared on your desktop PC.

I'm bumping this topic because it has been almost 2 weeks now and this issue is still occurring.

Most of the time the past 2 weeks there has been no sign of the IS2. No LDL, no local forecast, nothing. But on certain days (like this Monday) it comes back for a few hours and we once again get the LDL and local forecast, but then a few hours later, no LDL and LF once again. 

I've been wondering if maybe this is something that the headend is doing, but it seems strange considering it's been going on for about 2 weeks now. (but the SD IntelliStar on the SD channel has not been experiencing any issues.) If there's anything you guys can do on your end to resolve this, it would be greatly appreciated, STAR Team.

If TWC complained, then my guess would be no.  This site exists pretty much thanks to the generosity of TWC, considering the large amount of copyrighted material that's featured here, and the Star team also very generously participates when they can.  Antagonizing TWC would be the very last thing anyone would want to do here.

From my understanding, I don't think TWC actually complained - it just became a concern that was brought up when TWC became more aware of this site and started participating within the community. The last thing we want to do is have to deal with copyright trouble.

But is there any way I could get my hands on it?

Local Forecast / Re: Returning Product?

I just saw another one at 3:58 PM CT (the exact same time I saw it yesterday). I haven't seen it on any other LF except for the 3:58 PM CT. Maybe it only runs on this LF because it's around the hottest part of the day?

EDIT: Looks like Mike already checked the 3:58 PM CT LF on his STAR, so that rules out the above theory. I hate to jump the gun here, but maybe it's being beta tested on a few STARs, since no one else is seeing it but me?

Why would it be beta tested? It's been a product on the IS since (I'm pretty certain) it's inception. Although, I've personally never witnessed it ever appear on my IS (but I've seen plenty of videos of it).

Hey STAR team,

The IS 2 in my area appears to be down. For the last few days on the HD TWC feed we've been seeing the Satellite LF and LDL. This problem seems to have started this past weekend; it was down on Sunday, it was working again on Monday, and it's been down again since yesterday. If you guys could look into this and fix this issue it would be greatly appreciated!

I meant to post this earlier, but over a month ago, we finally got HD service, and thus, TWC HD. I was a little surprised to find, when I turned to TWC HD, that we had the IS2! Not sure how long we've had it, though, seeing as I just got HD service.

I'm impressed by the IS2 so far. I'll try to get a video of mine up as soon as I am able to.

My laptop's current desktop. I took the picture earlier this afternoon as a thundershower was moving through the area.
