...wish I could test...My new machine only has 1GB free and 512MB ram. It runs 8.1, and 2 copies of 10...Formatting the HORRIBLE copy of 10.

As far as I know, Frontier FiOS still carries Weatherscan both in Seattle and in Portland. Recently I've also discovered that in the northeastern Oregon town of Elgin, the local cable provider there, known as Elgin TV Association, carries Weatherscan on channel 11, though surprisingly not The Weather Channel itself.

What the heck? xD

UPDATE: I learned that Shamrock Lakes is not a suburb of Hartford City, it is it's own town with a Hartford City zip code, and i have learned that Comcast is phasing out Weatherscan.

Dave Schwartz died on July 30th, 2016 after losing against Stomach Cancer  ...R.I.P Dave Schwartz 1953-2016, Dave returned to The Weather Channel in December 2015, but died only 8 months later  , i thought of Dave as my 2nd favorite OCM

Shamrock Lakes, Indiana is a Suburb of Hartford City, Indiana and I just moved here 2 weeks ago to find out that Weatherscan is not offered here  I was so happy to get Weatherscan today, but I found out that they don't offer it in Shamrock Lakes  I have the Xfinity X1 Entertainment Operating System for my TV

You're welcome, if needed use VMware. VMware ALWAYS works, in addition to REAL hardware.

P.S. What edition of XP are you using? I use PRO for this, and it works, might be the edition.

Funny enough, i am making this message on Virtualbox before i move to VMware! thanks for the help!
